Soil organic matter and N mineralization (with a 5x difference between Reykjavik & Bangkok)
I discuss the annual estimate of N mineralization from soil organic matter and explain how I make calculations that can be expressed as daily, weekly, or monthly in addition to annual totals. When I ran calculations for temperatures at Bangkok and at Reykjavik, there was 5x more mineralization in a year at Bangkok.
This episode discusses the topics I wrote about in this post: https://www.asianturfgrass.com/post/soil-organic-matter-and-n-mineralization-bangkok-reykjavik/
