Soil test calibration and interpretation for turfgrass with Beth Guertal

Turfgrass soil test interpretation and the fertilizer recommendations that come from that have been highlighted as "arbitrary" and "based on other crops" and "needing more research." I suggest the #MLSN method as a way to bypass a lot of these problems, and Dr. Beth Guertal joined me to talk about this fascinating topic.

We discussed the post "Best judgment of the agronomist" which has a link to the #MLSN cheat sheet, plenty of quotes from the past 50 years about this problem, and links to plenty of information about making sure you apply just the right amount of fertilizer: https://www.asianturfgrass.com/post/best-judgment-of-the-agronomist/
